Association work
As a leading manufacturer of high-quality and customized flat wire solutions, BRUKER-SPALECK is an active member of VDFI, the association of the German spring industry and DKI, the German copper institute, contributing to various standards committees and working groups involved in the areas of material development and flat wire. As a member of the KERN-LIEBERS group of companies, we are part of a global network.
Associations provide a platform for the exchange of technical experience, for ongoing education and training, and for research and development. We actively participate in research projects implemented by associations. As part of VDFI, the association of the German spring industry, we participate in public research projects funded by the company, the association, and AiF, a leading German organization promoting applied research and development. These funded projects are managed together with German universities.
DKI, the German copper institute, provides us with a platform for sharing experience and knowledge. As a member, we actively use the information pool it provides.
In addition, KERN-LIEBERS is committed to numerous support organizations at colleges and universities, initiating projects and promoting cooperation between education, research and industry at the universities of Darmstadt, Ilmenau, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, the colleges of applied sciences in Furtwangen, Horb and Offenburg, and ITV Denkendorf, Germany's largest center of textile research.
Internationally, we also work with local institutions to promote emerging young talent, an example of which is the collaboration between KERN-LIEBERS (TAICANG) Co. Ltd., China with Jiao Tong University Shanghai.
